The line I was thinking of (Gendou->Fuyutsuki):
"Someone not we left this area behind. Though 89% was buried."

This is the LTS script. I think it makes more sense for th Geofront to
have been found 89% full then for 11% to be stcking out of the ground.

## It's 89%, not 81%. My mistake.
##
## I have checked the EVANGELION ORIGINAL, the complete script play,
## I would translate that dialogue as:
## "Somebody, not we, built this [spherical] space. 89% of which was
## buried"
## The script went on to describe Fuyutsuki looked down and saw
## virgin forest and underground lakes, scattered with moving
## construction vehicles.

What's the good o'l Red Cross Book say?

## Got to check////

My guess is that the 11% == Terminal Dogma, where Lilith is.

## From my understanding of the Japanese script, I think Gendou
## meant 89% of the sphere was filled with earth, and only 11%
## of which is open space. And deep underneath the earth (that
## is at the bottom of the sphere), they found the Lilith and
## LCL.
