YAOI comes from "YAma nahi, Ochi nashi, IMI nashi"

## Really?? So the origin of this word seems to stem from a criticism,
## rather than a euphemism...

## YAma nashi -- no mountain, meaning no bosoms?
## Ochi nashi -- ending with no point (or no proper ending)
## Imi nashi -- no meaning
