The original Tokyo was N2'd a week after the second impact.
(10/13/00..add 7 days and...) You can check this in the RCB.
Also, someone mentioned the first impact in relation to the origin of life
on Earth and the creation of the moon. Well, since it happened
approximately 4 billion years ago, it's technically a little late for the
creation of the moon, and a little early for the origin of life. (Barely,
but still early anyway...) Anyway, it was a "small" meteorite. (It must
have been going pretty fast though...) ^_^
