[EVA] Just saw 0:11...

Okay, I agree-- some things were messed up in 0:11.  However, with the
amount of plot things it cleared up, as well... I can't really say I was
disappointed with the episodes, especially since I can somewhat fathom the
Japanese (enough to tell when the subtitles are off), just in ADV's
subtitling job.  One question, though... Does the Spear actually elongate
while Eva-00/Rei is throwing it, or is that just a wierd drawing stuck in
there.

Also, one comment people made at the showing today... anybody notice the
same cell was used for almost 3 minutes, in the elevator scene? especially
with complete silence, save for background noises? Come on, Anno, this is my
one gripe, at least make Rei and Asuka BLINK!!!!

P.S. One real question, to cap this off... isn't it a little odd, that NERV
is thinking of scrapping Asuka, and knows it's something in her
subconscious, but that nobody ever tries to salvage her first, they just
leave her on her own?  I would think, just from the experiences with Shinji,
that someone (maybe not Gendo, but SOMEONE) would have thought to see what
actually was bothering her...
