I know I'm a bit late here, but I didn't see the specified scene (Asuka 
naked) in the pirated D&R copy I have. But then, we're talking about 
Singapore here, the King of Censorship...

## know she is naked inside a bathroom. You mean you really didn't see

## So even pirated copy does not guanrantee nothing was cut.....

Something I'd like to mention; I think it's quite strange, Asuka being a 
foreigner, to use "atashi" with such frequency (of course, we don't know how 
long she's studied the language) I myself don't use "boku" although I can 
(considering my age ^_^) However, this is just shooting in the dark as I don't 
know many foreigners who study Japanese anyway. ^_^
     
## Well, if Asuka indeed grew up speaking Japanese a lot (say, before her
## mom went insane), it is not surprising that she is used to referring
## herself as "atashi". You did not grow up speaking Japanese, so no wonder
## you don't use "boku". All Japanese lessons start by teaching that "I"
     ## is "watashi" or "watakushi".
