Remember Kaji's death in episode 21? So far we've been unable to figure out
who shot him. Many fingers were pointed at various people, but were unable to
prove it. Well, I realized that there was another possiblity, and on an
impluse wrote out a mini-fanfic about it. Read on and see who could have
killed him and why. ^_^

Neon Genesis Evangelion episode 21-
	Kaji's death scene

It's already late, Kaji thought as he rechecked his watch.
If his 'visitor' didn't arrive within the next fifteen minutes, he would be
in trouble. He leaned against the wall, mulling on how he would cover up this
secret 'meeting'.
More than five minutes had passed before he heard a sound. Kaji realized that
his 'visitor' had arrived at last. He approached his accomplice and smiled,
"Hi! You're late."
	He did not continue.
A gunshot rang out and Kaji was knocked backwards more by surprise rather
than intense pain. He slid down the wall, clutching at his blue shirt as it
stained a deep red color.
He looked up at his assailant in genuine surprise and slight trace of
amusement. He tried to speak, to ask why, but no words came. He coughed
instead. No need, he had a hunch that his suspicions were correct.
Who would have thought she'd do something like this? He shook his head and
smiled at his assailant with irony. He knew his time would come, but he had
never anticipated this would happen. Shows how reckless you are around women,
Kaji.
With his last thoughts, Ryoji Kaji died with an amused expression on his
face.
His assailant lowered her smoking gun and stepped forward into the sunlight,
which was occasionally interrupted by the slowly revolving fan. She frowned
upon the body of Kaji and shook her head sadly.
"That's what you get for two-timing girls like me and Misato." Maya Ibuki
replied disappointingly.

Uh, hehe? ^_^;;
It could be possible, you know? <sneaks away>
