The SI had incerated approximately 99.998% of Antartica; shifted Earth's axial
rotation, and altered global seasons on the planet (Tokyo-3 no longer has 4
seasons).
Taking all this into consideration, we can safely say that when Earth's axial
rotation shifted, ice at the North pole was exposed to more of direct sunlight
and melted. Also, due to drastic changes in seaons, any of remaining frozen
water would have melted. Don't forget that any of ice on Antartica melted too.
^_^

## Have you considered the fact that if the global temperature is the same
## (no extra greenhouse effect, the distance of Earth from the Sun is still
## the same) then probably somewhere else in the Earth will become the new
## South Pole and North Pole and water starts to solidify over there? In this
## case, there will be no extra water ^_^ Perhaps the whole process takes
## more than a decade to complete, hence the still submerged coastal cities :-)

What happens when we introduce additional 9% of water that was once frozen to
our oceans? Don't forget that ice (frozen water) are more densely packed

## ????!!!!! Ice is more densely packed than water??????? Are you sure?????
## I think ice has a density of roughly 0.9 of that of water (0 Celsius)

## Actually we don't need to know whether ice is more or less dense than
## water to find out how much more water would be added to the oceans when
## all the ice in the two poles melted....
