symbolic.  I could be wrong about this, of course, but I believe that the
Angels represent all the secret fears of everyone involved, especially
Shinji.  I'd like to think of the Eva's bouts with the mysterious Angels in
parallel to Shinji's struggle with everyday life.  Um, sort of.  This is
