I thought that the magazine it was being published in, SHONEN ACE, was
different from the ACE-A mag that was mentioned before. I also thought, from
reading the PREVIEWS descriptions of the American releases, that #6 was the
one where Shinji goes to live with Misato. Sorry for any confusion I might
have caused.
Also, when I mentioned the part about the anti-Christianity, I was only
making an observation, as with the 'Burn-Out Case' thing. I agree that the
series isn't anti-christian, and it does seem to be something of a gimmick
since the main story isn't about the second/third impact or any of the other
religious-type stuff in the series as it is about Shinji's evolution as a
person.
Now for a real question: I have heard that the 'First Impact' is both the
asteroid that killed the dinosaurs AND the great deluge of Noah. The dinosaur
thing seems to be what 'First Impact' is to the general public in EVA, while
the Noah thing, in light of the true nature of the Second and Third Impact
seems to be the real truth.
