Umm....NERV use Evangelion to defend Tokyo-3? Make it a save and better
place? ^_^???? I have mentioned the state of Japanese Anime industry in
a separate message already...Evangelion in a lot of sense is the only
salvation (no religious hidden meaning here ^_^;) at the time.

BTW, it's on page 175 of NewType Evangelion 100% collection book in the
section of The voice of Evangelion. Basically a bunch of letter written
by Evangelion fans about their experience of watch the series. So I'm
not the one creative enough to dream that up. 

I went back to the book and read it again....apparently those parallel
came out of a discussion/interview done by NewType with the Anno
himself.
