Maybe he just wrote down the wrong number... I think he IS talking about Unit
02.

Purple, people. Purple. And yes, it sure does look like it. Gareth, confirm me
on this, but I think I saw purple blood from that scene on EOE, when the MP
models sort of dined out on 02 (Ewwwww)...

There shouldn't be any hydrolics where the arm was cut off... No machinery
save for the spinal section where they have the entry plug, shoulder blades
and helmet...

MPMs had red blood. Once again, I need Gareth's or anyone who saw EOE's
confirmation, as I don't really remember all this clearly (Come on... It was a
long time ago...)...

The reason? Simple... 02 has red armor. So if it was bleeding red, you
couldn't tell if it was bleeding or growing. ^_^

In all seriousness? I have no idea... Anohter Anno mystery... Maybe 02's armor
being red did have something to do with that decision... You would have hard
time telling red blood dripping down from a red armor...

Head being split in two, along with being right in the N2 blast. I don't think
Rei had enough time to get 00's AT field up to protect the unit from the blast
(It was still under repair, so it was probably not functioning anywhere near 100%).
