[EVA] The Longinus Lance and other holy weapons

Just a little query : 

When I was at Anime Weekend Atlanta, I ran into a guy who had made an 
unofficial Evangelion fandub of the first two episodes . (He'd made it 
before the A.D.V version came out)  He showed it up in the Con Suite,
and it was actually quite good.  The voices were even better than the 
A.D.V. dub, as he'd gotten an actual 14-year old kid to play Shinji, and 
the voice of Misato was done by the girl who did the voice of Sara in the 
MTV cartoon "The Maxx".  All the other voices were good, too.  Gendo, 
Rei, and Maya all sounded similar to their Japanese counterparts.  My 
only gripe was that he'd redone most of the music.  He's replaced the OP 
with an instrumental version done on a keyboard, and replaced most of the 
BGM as well.  The new music was okay, but I like the original better.  
There was one exception.  In the scene where Shinji and Misato were in 
the supermarket, the song playing was that song (forgot the name) that goes 
"Love me, love me, say that you love me".  That was definitely cool.

Anyway, while I was talking to him, he mention some stuff about there 
being other holy weapons besides the Longinus Lance, and some stuff about 
the Dead Sea Scrolls.  Does anyone here know about there being other holy 
weapons?
