What part of it doesn't add up for you?  The "first human being" part?
That the embryo is Adam?  Which part?  For the former, you can make some
interpretive leaps on your own.  Several people were recently discussing
possible interpretations of what he meant.  (Basically relating to
humanity's status as the 18th angel, etc.  Regardless of what he meant,
Adam is still the first angel, don't let that worry you.)  As for the
latter, it was the process of reducing Adam to that embryonic state that
caused the second impact.  The embryo is Adam, that much is certain.
