untrue. her condition is worsened by pilotting Unit 01 in what seems to be
desperation by Nerv (at least they didn't wait around wasting time like in
the anime ^_^). Unit 00 still did malfunction prior to this: Sadamoto keeps
this sub-plot fairly completely. A neat thing with this is that we get to
hear, or rather read, the dialogue between Rei and Gendou in Unit 00's cage.
And i don't know if its related, but notice in the first 'stage' of the
manga as Ritsuko, Misato and Shinji are riding the boat over to Unit 01, and
up in the background in one panel there is the hand of an Eva shoved through
the wall. Is it Unit 00's?
