There is never enough satisfactory information about this. All we know is
that the Unit and the 2nd US NERV branch disappeared _mainly because_ Unit
04 had an S^2 engine incorporated into it. However, they could not have been
doing any real testing since they had *no pilot*. Someone must have gotten
impatient with *Marduk* and turned it on anyway...
