I disagree with that.

All students, one way or another, in Shinji's class are qualified to be
Evanglion pilots. Toji got selected because his younger sister soul is in
Unit 03 (which most of us on the ML have agreed upon) and that makes it easy
for him to synch with Evangelion. At that point in time (ep# 18), pilot(s)
piloting Evangelion(s) to protect "Adam" is still needed.

It's been discussed to death..., but please don't make direct connection
between Evangelion with the Bible since various Christian symbolism are just
design motifs to the story to make it "sounds cool". When you *really*
compare both you will usually find big holes and inconsistency in the usage
of symbols and stories.

See above. Again, those are just your theories and speculation, but not
facts.
