    I can think of three reasons why. Number one, it didn't want to have to
waste it's drill. Number two, the skylights are actually several layers that
close and are even more difficult to get through to discourage attacking them.
Number three, it was only attracted to the Eva's (or maybe Lillith's) power
signature which is allot like Adam's and it was too stupid to attack anywhere
but directly overhead its target (I think this is the most likely).
