If japan is rendered seasonless, wouldn't that require an orbital
shift? And even if the landmass were to rise would it be enough to
raise it above the new increased sea level? If not or only partly,
then gendou could have been at the pole over a now sunken (or
more rightly drowned) antarctica. Perhaps with only a few
mountains protruding. This could mean aantarctica is only a
shallow sea making a retrieval of the lance from davy jones's
locker an easieer prospect. Still the stalagmites of ice and the red
( as opposed to the orange of LCL) don't quite fit. As tthe angels
appear to effect macro-reality using quantom level rules, perhaps
antarctica's transformation is more radical and bizarre?
