Hey! I'm new to the group, but still a pretty knowlegable Eva fan. Sorry if 
I'm stepping on anyone's toes or bringing up any worn out discussions... 
I'll just jump in :)

That's what I hear... and demon-spawn aren't the only thing she created. She 
re-incarnated herself today as a feminist, and the idea spead :)

Thought I'd mention this from the message string, but... I've always heard 
that Eva was the second angel. Adam was the first, right? Then there's the 
quote above... Eva = Eve? After all, Evangelion WAS created from Adam, and 
when Sachiel comes they refer to the last angel they encountered as Adam.

And she was not

Here's my two cents (with nothing to back it up ^^) Lilith and Adam were 
both created from the earth (as individuals or as one being I don't know). 
Lilith ran away or was banished because she wanted power equal to Adam, 
which she couldn't have in the garden. Once she left, God created Eve from 
Adam's rib, so she was his second wife.
