So you are saying that both translations are incorrect?

I cannot adequatly comment on the circumstances of Bochan's
translation for obvious reasons. So, although I am 100% behind his
version, I will leave it out of my argument.

I disagree. And still, do you deny that it is the best answer
available? And that it is the most factually rooted of all the
theories?

I never said Rei is Lilith. But I do hold them on the same scale that
I hold Kaworu and Adam on. Kaworu is not Adam per se, but he is
definately part of Him.

I still don't even know what your POV is :P Who are you saying that
the 2nd Angel is? Or is "We aren't supposed to know." your final
answer?

But w-why? The fact that GAiNAX is willing to put into writing that
Lilith can fall into the 2nd Angel position certainly means that
that's what they were [probably - I admit] aiming for...

There is no other evidence to the other theories beyond personal
interpretation. And you've known me long enough to know how much that
means in my eyes ;)

Well, there's Lilith and Rei's relationship as compared to Adam and
Kaworu's relationship. Then the Liner Notes. And a major part in my
eyes (although you persist in questioning its authenticity) is
Misato's corrected line. There's just too much that says "Hey, I'm a
red flag - Lilith's the Second Angel" to make me think otherwise.
