Well, not in the US anyway (we got it as it was here in Italy. Incidentally,
in the same issue of the magazine there was a lot of nude stuff from Sazan
Eyes and Aa!Megamisama and that led to a minor turmoil only).

As far as Evangelion goes, though what we see of Rei in the manga is a
little more than in the anime (Gainax has made a point of giving fanservice
with no details in their series (nevermind the movies)), it still can't be
considered a censorable thing (Shinji doesn't even land on her breast).
Neither can Misato's back in her shower scene...
