First of all, I know nothing about the whole movie distribution thing and
how things work in the biz, but I am very surprised that people tends to be
very uncomfortable with the thought, that, there *might* be a chance we will
see EOE in US theater (note: art house theater engagement in various cities
or film festival appearance).
Consider the following factors:
a. Manga has a good track record on releasing some major titles in theater
in limited fashion.
b. Manga owns EOE's US right.
c. EOE is a major title with a cult status.
I mean, what's the problem? I am not saying that we will *definitely* see
EOE in the theater next year, but I am very sad that some EOE fans are being
so pessimistic about it.
Earlier this year, I saw EOE in UC Berkeley's Anime Club's showing on a big
projector. While it is not *exactly* a silver screen experience, there's
something to be said about EOE in a darken room...

> They do make a print(Strictly dub, they've never made anything else and
> probably never will) and no one will ever see it unless a, they live in NYC
> or some other GARGANTUAN market, b. they own a theatre and rent the print.
