Not when her first came out of the GeoFront. The Lance arrived
*before* the MPs attacked Shogouki. 

I personally cringe at the idea of Shinji fighting the MPs in the film
*(the game is another matter entirely).

Mononoke is only rated PG-13, despite some fairly graphic scenes of
limbs being severed.
