In the form of microscopic (like nanomachines) beings. It was simply
purge or deleted from MAGI. Since, at least from what I saw and heard
from the show, the virus is a bunch of nanomachines there is no barrier
in between DNA and binary/computer code. They simply assimilate and
change like a normal biological virus.

And about the Angels, if you think about it most of the angels (5th
Ramiel, 7th Israphel, 10th Sahaquiel, 11th Ireul, 12th Leliel, 13th
Bardiel, 14th Zerule, 15th Arael, 16th Armisael,) don't really reflect,
although the shapes and designs have been derived from animals or
mythical designs, many animals. The Angels are just beings that humanity
could have end up as.
