Shinji ran away because he was a child, and Gendou was at the same time angry
because of this and also worried about Shinji, considering what he was becoming
he probably thought that the farthest Shinji was from here, the safest from his
influence. Of course, it happened all the contrary and as hedgehog as the father
so grew the son.

Well, gendou wanted Yui back, so his plan was to control TI to make it so. As
for Rei's behavior, Rei is Rei, and nobody else. She decided that she would
entrust Shinji rather than Gendou with control over TI because Shinji had not
used her like he had.

On the contrary, it is in adversities that corageous people show their best
part, and Shinji faced it all and made the right choice, to return to life
despite the pain it could bring.

A fan idea. And Instrumentality is exactly that, a choice of possibilities,
after considering what one is and has been. Microsoft Complementation: "Where do
