The Japanese word "kanojo" is slightly different in nuance than the
English "she" (= generic female) in that "kanojo" usually refers to a
person the speaker knows (or knows of).
Thus, when Ritsuko says "has she finally awakened?" (Unit-01: eps19),
she is most likely referring to Yui.
