In episode 2 and which ever other one you might care to mention where Unit 
01's pearlies are *not* clearly visible, the red colour isn't due to blood. 
I'm sorry, but whatever you're watching it on must not be clear enough. 
Inside Unit 01's mouth in episode 2 for example are not blood stained 
teeth, but parts of the inner mouth armour which happens to be red.

No, Shogouki can clearly be seen with its head covered in some tight opaque 
membrane. Of course we can't see its mouth or lips. Anyway, what's that got 
to do with it?
