I can understand your reasoning, but I think that it's really going out on a
limb to suggest that Naoko (sp?) Akagi was involved in any way with the E
project. Her chief responsibilty was to the Magi system. Given NERV's ability
to isolate the soul, as in Rei (transferring it to other duplicates, even
post-mortem), it is possible, but IMO unlikely, that this was done to Dr.
Akagi's soul after she commited suicide. Her behavior prior and leading up to
that act was irrational, but not to extent that would in any way convince me
that she had had prior contact with an Eva.

BTW, does anyone besides me believe that EVA-02 got Kyoko's *complete* soul
after her suicide. Case in point, EoE: the voices Asuka hears seem to be both
women--before and after the contact experiment, i.g., "die with me."
