The ML rules are specific about new members not needing to introduce 
themselves, but there is nothing to stop old subbers from leaving a 
farewell note. I'm not leaving because of some stupid reason like "We've 
discussed it all already" - we most definitely haven't. I fell it is time 
to leave because the ML has reached a point in its degeneration where the 
value that I get out the discussions no longer breaks even with what I'm 
paying for the access time to download all the msgs. For example:

 >You seem to be the only one whom really cares anymore. Maybe you might want
 >to go back to lurking.

It doesn't matter who wrote this. There's just too much trash like this 
these days.

I send my regards to Bochan_bird and Patrick Yip for such excellent 
translation work that helped the ML reach its present level of factual 
knowledge. To Iris Irene for doing what she could about the current 
degeneration - good luck in the future. To Brendan, Emanuele, Jesse, 
Ketheres and Tom, and the others whose names elude me - if you reminisce 
about the good ol' days of the ML, then you know who you are.
