It is a very uncertain field of discussion, but I'd say that they are very
tightly related (otherwise there wouldn't be that control on the pilots'
part).

If *I* think about it, yes. But I meant to say that it looked like you
thought that the author wanted to parallel Eva's ATFs with his theory.

Again, read above the line about the parallel. In that POV, it didn't look
like a joke. I see no reason wh you shouldn't have drawn a parallel if you
wanted to, but I'd have a lot to disagree with it.
