I've talked with Val Lam numerous times and he's an excellent guy.  He
stopped production on EoE because he knew it was going commercial soon and
wanted to concentrate on subbing shows that had no chance of doing the
same, thus the last three seasons of Sailor Moon.  And I hate to admit it,
but Sailor Moon is more popular.
