This has never been disproven, and is still the most logical choice
assuming that there is a 2nd Angel.

I am working on '2nd Angel Proof' (2AP) which I hope will show beyond a
reasonable doubt that there is a 2nd Angel and that it is Lilith.  If
you are looking for a statement by GAINAX or something in the series or
movies that shouts "Lilith is the 2nd Angel" at you, then you won't find
it.  However, I am putting emphasis on "beyond a reasonable doubt".
