Not an error at all.
That scene is broken into two parts -- the first part with the
conversations on 8/15, and the second part with Second Impact on 9/13.
In one of the background conversations in the first part, the woman says
"I hear Ikari's team is leaving on the 11th of next month." Here, she
literally says "the next 11th", but since the date is currently August
15, that would mean that the "next 11th" is September 11, which roughly
matches with Gendo leaving Antarctica the day before Second Impact (ie:
either the woman's information was a day off, or Gendo's departure was
delayed by an extra day so that he left the day before).
