    Heh, Let's see...

    1) In Episode 11 someone says, "Remove the termination plug!" right before
they put the Entry Plugs in, and I quote:

Staff:  Yo-heave -ho. Yo-heave -ho. Yo-heave -ho. Yo-heave -ho....

Staff:  Roger. Termination signal plugs have been removed.

Gendo:  Okay. Prepare to insert entry plugs into all three Evas.

Staff:  But we have no pilots.

Ritsuko: Don't worry. I'm sure they will come.

    2) In Episode 24 Maya seems pretty surprised that Unit-02 is moving with the
termination plug inserted.

    3) It's name is *Termination* Plug. That insinuates that it keeps something
from happening.
