It most certainly is. What if Gendou had instituted Complimentality as he
wanted? What if SEELE had? These would certainly have led to different
outcomes, thus from what we get in the TV ending(that at least Shinji
ultimately gets to choose) is consistent with EoE, thus EoE "real world"
events are the only reasonable actions that could have taken place.

RCB as explained in another post was merely a primer for those not familiar
with the entire series. No NEW information that wasn't presented in the
series was available in the RCB. The specific passage in question was the
fact that it refered to it as having "different endings" not implying or
meaning it had two mutually exclusive endings.

Why is there a need to even ask such questions? PLEASE give me some reason
to doubt that the movie(s) and TV episodes are some how opposed to each
other. I am answering these questions you merely regurgitate WHY WHY WHY
WHY WHY...

Again, please give your reasoning. why do the two have to have "different"
events leading up to it? The are the same fucking thing!

You're not presenting any sort of POV. You are merely saying that they are
not necessarily the same thing, giving NO reason, NO support, NO logic.

Say I write a book. unfortunately because of publishing errors chapters
1-10 are published in order and released. Later On I decide to continue the
story where I had left off. Unforetunately again because of contraints I
have to write chapter 12 and release it. Later on when it becomes possible
I write chapter 11 and release it too. It's all part of the same story
here; just because it was presented out of order doesn't mean that it is
contradictory. Why is this seemingly simple idea not being grasped? Look
at it another way:
EoE happens up to the point that shinji must choose what to do. episodes
25-26 take over, presenting the internal conflict shinji goes through. Once
he chooses what to do (and everyone hurrahs for him--IN HIS MIND) then EoE
takes over again. Complimentation is completed and Unit one ventures off
into space with humanity in its busom. Shinji is left on a dead earth with
Asuka... The End. You don't have enough data? EoE IS your data. It's not
that complicated folks...
