Ah...I have the subtitled episodes.  But why would the translation differ?

Hee hee...this is something I can really sink my teeth into.  I've noticed
the same thing a number of times and have made many parallels to the
series (I'm sure a few of you are thinking "How dare she..." followed by
some expletives right about now).  But, as Sailor Moon is my first love
and EVA my second, I suppose it's only natural to try to squish 'em
together.  Anyhoo, when I saw Rei in that episode I also immeidately
thought of Usagi.  I also think that Asuka and Rei Hino (Sailor Mars) make
an interesting comparison...both fiery, competitive, and a big ol' pain in
the butt.  Shinji is closest to Sailor Uranus in my mind because even
though they really don't like what they're doing, they're driven by duty
(the fact that they share a voice actress only makes it better).  Misato
would be Sailor Venus, both controlled by their libidos and only slightly
insane, and I'd peg Ritsuko as the quiet, yet controlling Sailor Pluto.  I
guess Rei Ayanami would have to be Saturn because they're both enigmas
(at least to me).
