Many times I think of the Eva series as a whole, and I am astounded at how 
much it touched me and changed me on a personal level. The depth of the 
characters, the human issues that were faced, the complexity of the 
overwhelming plot itself. To me it is the greatest anime in existence. I 
feel that a *real* anime should change you in some way. Make you see, feel, 
or discover something new. Leave you different than when it found you. To me 
that is the true beauty of Eva.

Sadly I have found very few out of the numerous series I have looked into 
that live up to this. I look forward to the day when an anime arrises that 
posseses the same effect as Evangelion.
