[EVA] Clairification: "Otaku" and what is the S^2 Works?

I guess this can be considered OT.....

What exactly is an otaku?  Does it specifically relate to anime as in: "that
person knows everything about anime! S/he's an otaku", or can it be on any
subject matter: an otaku of cars, an otaku of fine foods, etc.

And so this won't be totally OT, here's an EVA-related question...yay!!

What does the S^2 set have? I have the soundtracks 1-3, addition,
death:rebirth, d:r single, eoe, eoe single, vox, and the symphony set.  Are
all these included in the S^2 works? Is there anything else?  Or is it
completely different?  Arigato...
