I would never had bought Serial Experiments Lain had I not watched the first
episode online.

I kinda think of it as "renting" the video. If I like it, I'll buy it for
sure. If I don't like it, I won't download the other episodes. I heard good
things about Koda-something or other ("Child's Toy"), yet after watching 2-3
episodes, I didn't enjoy it much. I'll probably never watch (or d/l) it
again lest a friend gets it on video or something.

(And don't give me no argument about renting stuff. None of the local stores
have good stuff. Those who have good shops near them are truly lucky.)

Having stuff for download is okay with me... as long as it's not the whole
series. Teasers are great. Works great in the film industry (ya know,
trailers).

this crap I have?
