This has already been covered over one year ago. Unit02's blood is red.
 And Misato says that she never heard about compatability with Eva 02, and it
could be said that that is simply because it's about the possibility of Rei
piloting Unit 01 and using a dummy system on Evas in general that we're talking
about, that is the purpose of the test, whic hdoesn't need involvement of Asuka
or her Unit since the main thing is to have a viable way to control Unit 01, not
aany unit in general. Also, it is said that Evas are copies of the first angel
and it is said that this isn't valid for Unit01 and Unit01 only (don't remember
the exact words).
