Your theory doesn't really make much sense if you think about the Angels,
which all have S^2 engines. For example, look at the 11th (I believe) Angel in
Lillipution Hitcher episode (sp?). It is an Angel and therefore has an S^2. I
would rather think that the S^2 is a part of the Angels/Evas (if so equipped)
genetic structure rather than a separate organ. Even if you are correct, look
at how Eva 01 acquired the S^2 through eating Zeruel (mostly his head!).
Following your theory, wouldn't it have had to have eaten the majority of the
Zeruel's internal organs (could you picture an Eva with a beer-gut?).
