[EVA] Is "What I'm saying, Shinji, is that I love you." debatable?

I don't know if this thread is closed, but my friends
and I came up with an interesting interpretation of
Kaoru's "I love you" line to Shinji...

Going back a few episodes, Arael "mindraped" Asuka and
we discussed is and the following battle with
Armisael(who attacked Rei and looked like DNA) and
interpreted both battles as preparation for Tabris to
appear.  Rei and Koaru had several physical
similarities, which we interpreted as Armisael's
attack forming the basis of Koaru's body...HOWEVER,
the important thing is the Arael battle which may have
formed the basis for Kaoru's MIND.  Arael attacked
Asuka and if Asuka had emotional feelings, like love,
towards Shinji(though she couldn't accept it and hid
it), Kaoru would inherit those, and, when he came, he
would have Asuka's feeling of love towards
Shinji...either in the sexual way or as a brother...
