No, not at all.
What I meant to say is, Rei's soul is that of _The_ life-giving force of the
universe. And that therefore her condition hints at that in some ways.

However, the creation of man and birth-giving ability of man are quoted in the
same monologue very near to the bleeding line. Not to mention that she may not
be good at dealing with emotions because of her inexperience but she shows them
every now and them, enough to say that there *are* things that phase her.
