[EVA] EoE- an attack?(mini-eoe spoilers)

Probably some of the violence in EOE is a result of the fan's being mean to 
Anno. However, he put in more positive mail from fans than hate mail IIRC.

Originally, something somewhat like EoE was going to be the ending of the 
Evangelion series. The idea migth have changed with the addition of time, 
and a large budget, but I don't believe that an ending was made just to 
spite fans.

Can you imagine having to beg for funding, just for the rights to annoy a 
group of people?

Besides, anime is made for money, and who'd want to see a film made only for 
spite-value? Money makes the world go around...
