[EVA] [Eva] [EoE spoiler] Platonic World of the Forms?

At the end of EoE, the world is basically destroyed. All you have is Shinji
and Auska. Could the world possibly be the Platonic world of the Forms? For
Example you have A large version of Misato's cross could that actually be
it's ideal form? Or is the appearance of Rei actually the ideal form of Rei?
