I think you are confused about what I was trying to say.
My reply was specifically aimed at your following remark:

My reply stated that Japan's age of consent is not that different from
other places (including the US where the age of consent differs by
state), and that 14 years is indeed young for Japan.
I so-called "jumped down your throat" about the common misperception
that Japan is some exotic country where sexuality and eroticism at an
early age is the norm (as is often implied by Hollywood culture).
Again, remember the widespread PTA objections.
