[EVA] More Gainax releases...

Gainax has released two more limited edition phonecard sets, and another
gengashu (original drawing collection).

The Summer 2000 phonecard sets have two phonecards each.
The Rei set is drawn by Utatane Hiroyuki, and the Asuka set by Suzuki
Shunji -- both Eva art staff who have drawn various well-known posters
and media item covers, etc.
The best way to describe these sets is, well, do you remember the Drama
track from the Eva Addition CD? Okay, do you remember the part where, in
order to increase viewer ratings, they introduce the "plug-chicks"
concept with the new (transparent) plug suits that shrink to show
"you-know-what" when you press a button on the wrist units?
Well, one of phonecards in each set shows Rei/Asuka in their regular
plugsuit, and the other phonecard shows them in the same pose but with
the new plug suit after pressing the button.

The gengashu contains the original drawings (probably the cel sketches)
for Gainax's infamous strip Mah Jong software "Datsui Hokan Keikaku --
Shinji to Yukai na Nakamatachi (Clothing Removal Instrumentality Project
-- Shinji and his Merry Friends)".

Finally, I called Gainax and asked about subtitles on the Second Impact
DVD Box Sets, and the staff I spoke to said they weren't sure. However,
they also didn't know anything about subtitles on the current Gainax DVD
releases. (There were subtitles on those, weren't there?)
Also, this 3-box DVD set will have a limited production run of 5000
units, which is probably a good thing considering the price...
