[EVA] How do peoples souls end up in Eva anyway?

How I saw it was that Rei, being only a socially deprived child, didn't know 
that it was wrong to call Naoko the same way that Gendo called her. And of 
course, the pain that Rei has gone through emotionally and physically 
probably gave her a mean streak to boot. (Sadist Rei!)

I don't believe that Rei was capable of inciting murder because Naoko and 
Gendo were being passionate.

Now, we're pretty sure that Yui entered the EVA on her own free will, and 
that Naoko probably didn't try her best to get her out. What if Naoko had 
succeeded? Could she have dragged Yui physically out of the EVA?
