But she was fighting that strange angel that was nothing more then a huge 
peice of string ( the name of him has left my mind ). HE was fusing with Eva 
and what the eva feels the pilots feel. SO if they are getting beat up it 
might be from what the Eva suffers during the fight ( Asuka, End of 
Evangelion getting entrails eaten ).
