Rumours about this project have been around since the beginning of the year,
but now it´s finally official. At the 40th Japanese SF Convention GAINAX has
stated that there´ll be a sequel to one of their most famous anime series
"Gunbuster - Top o narae!". Neither a release date nor the proper format
(OVA/TV?) were given away, but it´s reported that Kazuya Tsurumaki (FLCL,
Nadia, EVA) will direct the show, while the chara-design will be handled by
Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. "

  If the list can somehow ignore the news that there's gonna be a freaking
GUNBUSTER sequel then the list not knowing of GAiNAX making a statment about
the soul in Unit-03 wouldnt exactly shock me. ^_^
